Fighting Fraud Together

SOCA is one of 37 partners who have put their support behind ‘Fighting Fraud Together’, a new strategy aimed at reducing fraud through shared intelligence, increased awareness and effective enforcement.

The strategy is backed by an action plan which puts strong emphasis on prevention.

According to the National Fraud Authority, fraud costs the UK around £38 billion every year.

The launch of ‘Fighting Fraud Together’ is the first time that government, industry representatives, voluntary groups and law enforcement agencies have joined together on such a large scale to sign a joint commitment to tackle fraud.
