People smugglers extradited to France

Two of the five men arrested as part of an investigation into people smuggling were extradited to France today.
Afghanistan national Jambaz Ahmadzai, aged 40, from Alum Rock, Birmingham, and Iraqi national Hajhar Farhan, aged 21, from Gloucester, were met by the French authorities at the steps of an Air France plane at Heathrow Airport.
The other three men arrested on the 17 November are due to be extradited next week.
