Wanted fugitive Adam Hart arrested in Amsterdam

One of SOCA’s most wanted fugitives, 30 year old Adam Hart, a suspected cocaine trafficker, was arrested in Amsterdam on Wednesday (02 December 2009).

Hart, a kickboxer from Essex who featured in the Crimestoppers operation Captura public information appeal, had been on the run for more than two years.

When approached by the Dutch police on Wednesday he attempted to eat a mobile phone sim card. In addition, he was carrying three mobile phones, false identity documentation including a passport and had €5,000 hidden in his underpants.

Hart will now appear before the district court of Amsterdam to face extradition proceedings.
