SOCA officers disrupted a 44 kilo heroin deal when they raided a warehouse in the Wirral. It is believed the site was being used as a wholesale drug depot supplying heroin and cannabis across the UK.
Along with the heroin, more than a tonne of cannabis resin was recovered, as well as a white powder believed to be amphetamine, tablets believed to be Ecstasy, cannabis plants, sophisticated growing equipment, and over £40,000 in cash. Seven people were arrested.
