SOCA has recently been designated as the point of contact for Counter Proliferation Financing (CPF) Reporting in addition to its obligations as the Financial Intelligence Unit for the UK.

This Alert details the UN resolution and the appropriate EU directives. The necessary steps needed to comply with the relevant legislation have also been provided and should be read in conjunction with HMT Guidance. This document may be used to support appropriate training and it is suggested that this is implemented immediately.
