At SOCA we want the best for our staff. We develop skills through high quality training. This extends from new entrant induction to professional development, management development and specialist training.

Individual progression

We're committed to helping individuals fulfil their career ambitions within the organisation. Staff should have the opportunity to develop within their own roles and through lateral movement or promotion.

In addition, we support lifelong learning, regardless of grade or role. To this end, we use a Performance Development System to assist in establishing personal learning needs and helping staff work towards their goals.

This also helps us work more efficiently and ensures that operations are conducted in a safe, legal and compliant way.
