SG5 Investigative Officer and SG5 Investigative Firearms Officer Campaign

SOCA are recruiting for a number of SG5 Investigative Officers and SG5 Investigative Firearms Officers. There vacancies are available in London, Warrington, Bristol and Birmingham however there maybe a few additional vacancies available nationwide. As an investigation officer you will participate in operations and investigations, carry out evidence and intelligence gathering and preservation in order to build knowledge of serious and organised crime and disrupt and degrade criminal capability via the use of information communications technology (ICT). You will also provide support to core investigative functions including disclosure / exhibits / authorities /presentation of written and oral evidence. The salary for this vacancy is £24,717- 30,323 depending on current salary. Ultimately you could earn up to £33,515 which is the maximum for this grade.

Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) vacancies

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) is a unique and pioneering development in child protection. Created in April 2006, CEOP is a law enforcement led multi-agency organisation with child protection at its heart. Its role is to work in partnership with government, the police service, child protection agencies, childrens' charities and industry to protect children, young people, families and society from paedophiles and sex offenders, in particular those who use the internet and other new technologies in the sexual exploiation of children.
